About us

We believe that together, we can all make a difference to improve the lives of the vulnerable.

Noah Mapalo Help Centre is a non-profitable organization that was established out of compassion for the vulnerable communities in society in November, 2012. “Noah”- derived from Noah’s Ark, symbolizes a safe haven for the people while “Mapalo”- a local dialect name implying blessings. The registration of Noah Mapalo Help Centre (NMHC) as a legal entity commenced in Zambia and in Portsmouth in the United Kingdom, UK, a country to which its proprietor had travelled in order to foster the children of a late family member. Soon after, the organization was then registered under the Societies Act 119 of the laws of Zambia (Reg No. ORS/102/26/1136). Subsequently, NMHC was then registered under the companies Act 1115: England and Wales (Reg No. 11806540). With support from both the UK and Zambian partners and volunteers, NMHC has since positively impacted over 800 individual households since its inception.
To help vulnerable families in society by encouraging people-driven empowerment through: health services, education, sustainable development and welfare; empowering families living in abject poverty in rural areas of Zambia, as while as promoting sense of belonging for people of Portsmouth
